Interior Construction Specialists Completes Tenant Improvement for CBRE
CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) celebrated the completion of its new offices at 222 South Main Street--Salt Lake City's newest office tower/skyscraper--with a grand opening event on March 1, 2010. Interior Construction Specialists (ICS) completed tenant improvement work for CBRE's move.
ICS' scope of work included a complete tenant build-out of the new office space, totaling more than 10,000 square feet. Construction was completed within a 10-week window to facilitate CBRE's move to the new office tower. Crews cut two new openings into the CMU wall separating the new parking garage from the building in order to create entrance doors from the parking garage to the new office space. The project's unique finishes included rolling glass barn-style doors, walnut veneer cabinets and millwork, floating, suspended fabric-covered acoustic ceiling tiles, drywall soffits, full-butt glass partitions and aluminum frames with 9' walnut doors in the offices and conference rooms.
CB Richard Ellis is the first tenant to occupy the 222 Main office tower and is the building's exclusive leasing agent. The real estate firm moved into its new offices in January and occupies the entire fourth floor of the building.
