To meet immediate and future health care needs of Beaver County and surrounding regions, the city contracted with Layton and Gillies Stransky Brem Smith Architects to construct a new regional hospital using the design-build method. The hospital design will accommodate future building enhancements that will provide long-term care options for the growing age population in the area.
The hospital includes 22 acute care beds, 36 skilled nursing beds, medical offices, two operating rooms, an emergency room, and pathology and radiology suites, which includes CT scanning capability. |
