Herriman—a growing city in the southwest Salt Lake Valley needed a new high school to keep up with their tremendous growth. Layton Construction has been contracted for the project and construction is about to begin.

The new two-story high school will feature an auditorium, two gyms, two soccer fields, stadium with artificial turf, greenhouse, lecture hall, shops, eight outdoor tennis courts, four outdoor basketball courts as well as softball and baseball fields. The school will accommodate 2,400 students and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010.
