Layton Construction completed the retail shops phase of the Nampa Gateway Lifestyle Center—an 850,000 ft2 open-air shopping center built on 104 acres in Nampa, a suburb of Boise. Nampa Gateway Lifestyle Center is the largest shopping center in Canyon County.

The initial phase of Nampa Gateway Lifestyle Center was a large retail anchor store, with additional retail shops and dining to follow. Layton built four separate retail buildings. The four buildings meet with a unique water feature between them. Exteriors are EIFS and storefronts for future tenants.

The entire project incorporates a prairie-style design, which features stone column accents, steel trellises, colorful canopies and nature-based color schemes.
Due to the growing interest in the well-received project, a fast track schedule was used to help turnover the buildings to tenants sooner.
