The Pen & Ink Corporate Center, a two story tilt-up building, blends together high-end office finishes with manufacturing and warehouse areas.

In this design-build project, Layton and the architect, Pinegar Design Group, joined the two areas seamlessly while still making them distinct, using structural steel and brick veneer for the office areas and tilt-up for the remainder of the facility.

The stately entry to the facility features an elaborate fountain and a radius staircase. The lobby incorporates the elements of wood, water, steel and light, inviting guests to enter. The corporate offices in front of the building feature high-end finishes. The main layout consists of perimeter offices and open cubicle space. The second floor executive office suite includes wood jambs, accent lighting and an elaborate conference room.

The manufacturing and warehouse areas are in the rear of the building, consisting of a supervisor’s office and loading docks. The warehouse area is given architectural interest with exposed structural steel elements. The area is outfitted with additional electrical power for manufacturing machinery.
