Riverton City contracted with Layton to restore, remodel and expand the city’s historic school – a more than 70-year-old masonry building – into a multi-purpose city center building.

Layton performed an interior retrofit and seismic upgrade for the building. The building features a new music auditorium, city offices and court.

The addition’s windows match the historic materials. A large, enclosed skybridge joins the old and new structures, enabling easy access between the second-floor levels.
